Daryn was definitely correct that this was the most interesting thing to happen around this place in a while. Even with Arthur, Tina didn't feel so... intrigued. He liked Arthur, felt an odd kinship with him (one he was pretty sure was one-sided), but it wasn't the same as kidnapping someone new.
He wasn't as quick with his own retrieval of necessities, which was weird because all he needed was his coat and hat. Everything else was already in the back seat of his car. So what should have been a two minute jaunt filled the entire five minute span. Probably a few more, actually. But a small part of him wanted to give Daryn more time if she needed, and another part of him wasn't completely sure she'd come back at all. So when he saw her standing outside in their meeting spot, almost looking eager, he looked almost surprised.
But he covered it well with a trademark smirk. "Looking to camouflage yourself in the snow, eh?" he asked teasingly, his own dark plaid jacket making him stand out against the flurries. "Good call. Never know when we're gonna need to do some recon out there in the tundra." Digging his keys from his jeans hip pocket, Tina twirled them around his index finger, and nodded toward the parking lot. "C'mon. Let's go get in trouble."
