Max laughed softly at the 'handsome,' and he gave her a quick wink, not at all minding the blush. The blush was damn cute, and it made him happy that he wasn't dealing with a complete whackadoodle. Although with the way things were going, it was quite possible that she wasn't as crazy as she might seem.
He moved from his place by the coat rack to his place behind the desk. He naturally leaned back and set his feet up on the edge of the desk. He didn't dip into his drawer of booze; he didn't have to do that every time he sat in this spot, but it felt right. But, two numbers didn't work?
He sat up straight. "No, it's okay. Take your time. I don't have anything going right now."
