"Masters." Max nodded slightly, logging away that information. He pressed her hand softly to his side. He liked that she was a smart cookie; he liked the dumb ones and the smart ones, but the smart ones were usually a little more fun.
"Not as often as I'd like. But, it's a job. No matter what they need to get help; if you're out there thinking your better half isn't being so better, then you don't trust them. By the time they get to me, there's something wrong. Doesn't matter if their suspicions are founded or not." He sounded a little sad, but the overall tone was more matter of fact.
