"Roy mentioned him," Laurel said, trying not to make a face. It was just strange to think that another vigilante existed in a world so similar to her own. And even stranger to think that another version of herself was dating him.
"Oh, you're making sense," Laurel said with a smile. She appreciated that Felicity hadn't brought up the other link that she and Roy shared-their romantic histories with members of the Queen family. Though it was just as possible that that hadn't happened in Felicity's world. Which again led her to wonder just how much else was different.
Her cheeks colored at the praise, and she couldn't help but look pleased.
"Thanks. You're pretty great too, you know that? I don't know how it happened in your world, but I was ready to give up the mask and you're the one who inspired me to try again." It wasn't idle flattery. The more she'd worked with Felicity, the more she admired the other woman, and Felicity had given her more than one pep talk to keep her going.
"So, you and Ray... how are things going there?" she asked, trying to keep the question casual. She did have to wonder if things were as strained for the pair as they were in her world.
