Who could forget a knockout like Natasha? Everything about her was unforgettable. Bruce had no luck with women of any caliber so anything to do with Nat beyond a casual friendship was null and void. He could recall trying to kill her at least once as the Other Guy. He doubted she would forget that. And she was way out of his league. Kate Bishop had been, too, but he had begun working the courage up to pursue something more than a friendship when the young archer vanished.
He was just doomed to be alone and that was okay. It was safer for everyone involved.
And women were just way too stressful.
Vampires and werewolves didn't seem outlandish compared to some of the things he'd seen.
"I bet I can blow your mind even more," Bruce commented casually as they walked. "Where I was in the land before this one, you were there. You weren't very happy with me, I don't know why. But you weren't. We avoided each other for the most part. Which was probably for the best. But we all stayed in this box called the TARDIS, which is an acronym for Time And Relative Dimensions In Space. A time machine space ship. It crash landed and was broken in this realm of prehistoric flora with dinosaurs to top it off."
The scientist smiled a little, "There was a tear in the space time continuum that was pulling people like us from various points in time and space and dumping us all into the same spot. Some of us came and some of us went. We had creatures of various types from all over. I wish I had been able to study it more."
