Staring back at her, Cas nodded. "Well there are," he said bluntly. "She was taken aback by the knowledge of what I am, but once she grew used to it, she was amicable. Sarcastic, but...I'm told this is a pleasing quality in most."
He still didn't understand it and while he'd learned to appreciate some humor, that too was also a confusing matter. The fact that Phaedra was smirking was something he took to mean she was pleased. He didn't think much of it beyond that. At least not yet.
"I would never intentionally introduce you to someone who could be a threat," he added. "If I believed that, I would likely have already looked into her or this Peter further. As of this moment, there is nothing I can sense that is questionable."
Of course, his senses were dulled, but...he did what he could. For the good of the others.
