Peter blinked as her eyes shifted, lifting his mouth from her shoulder, looking down into her eyes curiously. As he watched they faded back to normal, and Peter flopped back down, his chin on her shoulder, watching her rather than the clouds above them.
It was already bright, enough that he half-closed his eyes, watching her through a veil of lashes.
"I vote we don't find out," he suggested, his words half-mumbled. He'd lie here in the sun as long as he was allowed to - it just depended on what Phaedra wanted to do with her first day of sunlight.
