"Good call on the voice. And if a dragon shows up, I'll slay him for you."
The smile was still on her face, the teasing still there. In spite of everything that they'd been through with the aliens, she was in good spirits tonight and she was going to do her best to hold onto that feeling. She and Dean didn't get much time together period, and time together that actually resembled a date? The last time that happened had been that weird-ass carnival and that hadn't ended all that well.
"I think you're right," she said with a brief nod as she looked around the room. "The Doctor's over there," she gestured, remembering the man from the meeting. "Rob's here." She pointed out the guy who'd been at Mary's rescue and tried not to worry too much about "Phae too," though she was pretty sure Dean had seen the vampire already.
"There could be some sort of twin town somewhere else," she said, a little note of hopefulness in her voice. It was better than wondering what exactly the aliens would have done with all the people they decided to ditch. People that were considered failed experiments, perhaps?
"How are things with Sam, by the way?"
She had done her best to give the two brothers space to re-bond over the past few days. She knew how much Sam meant to Dean and she knew how weird it had to be to catch up on timelines that didn't exactly mesh.
