Jo actually didn't mind getting dolled up every so often. She wasn't girlier by any normal definition, but she still had her girly moments. The dress she'd tracked down might not have been the sequined dress that Dean had admired back on the noir planet, but it had a neckline that was daring enough and was a deep jade green and had more beads than she'd probably worn on any item of clothing combined over her lifetime. The best part was that it hadn't been made by Dean. This might not have been her first choice of date, but she liked the idea of a night out where they didn't think about the work that they'd been doing every day here.
She caught Mary's eye when she walked in and lifted her hand in a wave. She headed over to the pair, even as Mary looked like she was ready to head out.
She noticed a few other familiar faces in the ballroom. Sam, of course, and Phaedra. The Doctor too. She also attempted to catch Phae's eye and give a nod to the vampire.
