The sheer joy on Evan's face as he offered his name... Clark wasn't sure what to make of it. It was only then that he remembered Olivia.
"Comics? Or movies?" he asked, still finding it hard to swallow the idea of being someone else's entertainment quite like this.
Evan's reaction was very different from Olivia's though and Clark couldn't help but wonder what might have inspired such happiness, though he felt that perhaps it was a good thing. He'd wanted to inspire people after all, right?
A smile spread across his face. Nobody here was ordinary. He'd fit right in. He'd never had that before. He still wasn't sure that he could have it even here, but it was a nice possibility. Maybe he'd seen a glimpse of it in working with Bruce and Diana at times, but this was... more. This was the potential to have the choice to hide things taken off the table. To simply be himself.
Could he do it after spending a lifetime hiding his abilities? Possibly. It certainly sounded enticing.
Of course, the list Evan had ticked off was something in itself.
"A fairy, a woman who can become an elephant, and a catboy?" he repeated. "Now that's... really something."
