Piotr felt no more troubled than he had when he'd spoken to Rayne, even though they hadn't gone to find out anything more by speaking to one of the aliens they'd seen. He just couldn't bring himself to be discontent in this particular space. The idea that the aliens wouldn't be present if there were anything harmful or worrisome aboard stuck strongly in his mind.
He made his way back to the room he'd woken up to after eating a bit more food than was strictly necessary for him to feel full or even fatly contented. Sleep was the next thing on his agenda. Peaceful, unguarded sleep. Sleep that did not harbor worries about any of the friends he had made and their safety. Sleep that would hopefully come without dreams. Deep sleep that he would wake from feeling refreshed.
Of course, as he strode along the hallway from the elevator, he had not been expecting to discover another new face. And he certainly had not expected it to be the face of his sister. Though she was clearly younger than him, which was not the way that he had left her.
