Rolling his eyes, Cas simply sighed. He knew there would never be a time where Dean didn't choose to respond to him with "sarcasm." One would think after having saved the other man's life a number of times, he would have gained some form of respect, yet Cas was beginning to feel as though there was no point in waiting for that day to happen.
"I'm getting married, Dean," he replied bluntly, continuing to walk alongside his friend. "Obviously, there are things I will wish to discuss with you, but I wasn't going to mention it until your family was found. I understand the necessity of locating those closest to us."
That had been the point of clarifying his desire to discuss it later, but it seemed that Dean's sarcasm was just as annoying in space as it was on Earth. Yet despite all of that, Dean was still the one he considered his best friend and surrogate brother. He wasn't certain when they would agree on something in a serious capacity or if that day would ever come. Thus far, the one thing they'd had in common was a desire to show Mary's captor exactly why they were not to harm her or anyone of their family.
"I...saw Piotr taken," he admitted. "Back on the island. Once we find Jo, Mary, and Johnny, I would also like to find him. I'm not attempting to change the subject at hand or avoid the mission."
