And once the magic of the bike faded, he'd try to find something else to diffuse situations with. Mostly because he was really sure that there would be more situations. More fights. More heated discussions. He and Mary were already too similar in the way that they thought. Jo and Dean added into things, and they were like a party mix of quick tempers. Since he was positive that they'd all be stuck with one another for a long time because of the aliens, and for as long as Mary and Jo tolerated him being around, he was also positive that there would be a need for more bomb-squad maneuvers.
"Not sure why they gave it to me here. But I think I might ride it around in circles for a little while later. Would you care to join me in a grand tour of the hallway a thousand times?"
