There were only so many times that a name could be said and not investigated. Simon had reached his limit, and he was waiting for the pair as they came near his door again.
"What. What is it that you want, you infuriating infant."
It was the boy who had continually spoken about him. The boy whom was no longer just a boy, but something more. Oh, that he'd just stayed a boy. Then perhaps Niks would have lost interest, given her newfound fae side. She was a special thing, and he was not. Except he was.
Simon found this incredibly irritating.
