Clark had heard the warnings about the wolf and he'd listened to the whispered worries and rumors. Was it any worse than anything else lurking in the forest? That had yet to be determined, though he'd kept an eye out all the same. There were small camps of people spread out over the island, much to his frustration. It would have been easier to watch over them if they all stayed in one place. Then again, it also would make them more vulnerable to attack so he could understand why they'd all claimed their own corners of the island.
His mind was still reeling from the revelations in the wake of his conversation with Olivia. Fictional? Comic book character? None of it registered. His brain refused to accept it. And yet, all of the things she'd known were still there. He couldn't just ignore that. He just had to think about what it really meant to him if she was right about everything.
Though for now, he found a distraction in the form of the wolf that people had been worried about. It was sniffing around a camp and Clark touched down in front of it, blocking the way completely. His stance wasn't overly aggressive, though the protectiveness written in the lines of his body could certainly be read as such. He was prepared to fight to protect the people at this camp if needed.
