Hope raised an eyebrow. Betsy was exceptionally sensitive, perhaps because of what she'e endured or perhaps because of her own personality -- but either way, it wouldn't win her friends. Elpis wished her the best. It would be difficult for her.
"A fairy, and a vampire?" she repeated, surprised. "In my world, they're only stories. Not even in the old days were the monsters ever fairies or vampires." She thought about that last part. There was Hekate and Lamia. They weren't vampires, but some could argue that they at least had vampiric qualities.
"At least it won't be dull," she said at last, with a bit of a smile. It was the best she could do.
"I'll go find your clothes, so you don't have to wander around in the forest naked. Just that way, you said? I'll be right back."
And true to her word, she brought back everything she'd found.
