"Or I don't exist." Jack laughed softly, shrugging. "I'm mostly okay with not existing. Least Jo remembers me. You know Jo..Harvelle?" It wasn't a test; Jack didn't need to test him, well not on this stuff anyway.
"And, you're right. This Jo may know another Jack, and that would be interesting. Got a feeling most Jacks are alike if we exist at all. If we're not named Jack, then we aren't Jack." She was okay with being someone else entirely, but the many permutations that would end up in her existing as she did...well, it had to happen mostly a certain way, didn't it?
"Don't worry about it, Flyboy. I'll accept your word until you prove otherwise. Then I'll tie you up and make you tell me the truth." She shrugged; it was only a slight joke. Not a threat, a simple joking statement that was in the end a statement of fact. "And, you may feel free to do the same with me. This kind of thing does go both ways."
