Jack laughed softly at the jump to truth and conclusions.
"That's good for you, but I was actually being on the efficient side." She smiled at him, no leering, no brow waggle. "Seemed economical. Though bits and pieces may be attractive if they're out in the open." Her hand went up.
"To the creatures in the sea, big boy. Someone says they've got a mate, they've got a mate." She laughed softly. "Okay, violence for one. Go for it, but take your time. We don't exactly have a fire going or a way to cure it." She knew how to do the first, but the second, not so much.
