"You've had an interesting life. I don't need to know the specifics to know that. I mean, an angel who isn't? Would do it again?" Jack tugged on the last bit of vine and looked over both slings. They'd have to do. She would start making traps later. Her hands turned to rest on her knees, palms up. A tattoo peeked out. She didn't have anything to cover it with other than a shirt sleeve.
"I can't say I strongly dislike it." Jack continued to smile, peeking up at him. "There are some things I wish I didn't need to, but that'd be the case no matter what. It's really all I know. Was born to this life, raised in it and haven't known anything else. Really, never wanted to. Not getting much choice of it now though, am I?"
Her voice was calm, and there was no sadness or regret. She was actually quite accepting of it all. She understood wanting to get out of this life only somewhat, but still it was strange and amusing in some small way.
"Vampires, yes. There are other things, I'm sure."
