Keeping his eyes on the weapon rather than the woman made it easier to keep his tempter. She was not someone he wished to take his temper out on - he didn't wish to do that to anyone. Least of all anyone who was undeserving. She was trying to be friendly. And while Cas had never had many friends, he understood the necessity of allies all the same.
"My name is Cas," he replied simply. "I...will now ask you your name also."
It was the polite thing to do, at least. The correct thing. Sooner or later, the anger would pass and he might either wish to speak with her in the future or need to. He needed to know exactly who was on this island with him. And from there, they could begin to work towards finding those who were not.
