Jack paused at the 'salt and burn' followed by 'hunting.' Her brow rose, but she didn't say anything at first. She just went back to working on the sling. It was more effective than some might think. She could lenghten it, or change the cradle for various projectiles. Right now, she would work with rocks.
"I was thinking more bunnies and squirrel, but rats could work." She wasn't jumping at the chance to eat fire roast rat, but when it came down to it, she'd eat what she must to stay alive.
"Sounds like you were Lost," she laughed softly. "A polar bear? Were there any smoke creatures?" So, she watched a lot of tv when she had down time. It was right up her alley with the scifi, mostly.
"So, you got a name, hunter?" Finally she let the first sling drop across her lap and started on a second one. She had wrapped the vines one way, and she wanted to try another way. She'd make more in whatever pattern that seemed more durable and suitable.
