Mary shook her head. Maybe she was in denial, but she didn't want to be extraordinary. Not really.
"I can't time travel. I'm just capable of being kidnapped by angels who can't seem to stop screwing around with moral lives."
She knew that there was a possibility that someone up there was listening, but she didn't really give a damn right now. She had a whole lot of anger toward the angels and the longer she was stuck here searching for her sister who'd gone missing on their watch, the angrier she got.
She did manage to keep a poker face at the mention of death and the fact that ordinary men had a destined time to die. She was pretty sure that Johnny had messed with the natural order of things in the way he'd been brought back, but again that wasn't here secret to share. Though that information did hit home yet again how screwed up that particular situation was.
