Jo was actually looking forward to the prospect of tracking something down with her daughter. She was pretty sure that it might not pan out since the pig farm news was a couple days old so the trail might have run cold by now. But that didn't matter as much as having a mystery to unravel. That was the part she was thrilled about. She hadn't had enough time to just get to know the only the woman who was her flesh and blood and she was looking forward to that too, to seeing how she hunted and all that.
She showed up at the bar right when Mary had said that her shift would be done. She looked around for her and was a little confused when she didn't immediately spot the other woman. She did see Johnny, however. He was sitting at the bar instead of behind it. That was weird, but Jo figured maybe he was taking a break. She still wasn't sure how she felt about the fact that he was pretending to be her daughter's husband, but it was clear he cared. Ick factor aside, that was important. He was also still her friend. So Jo put on an easy smile that took a little more effort than it appeared and approached him.
"Hey Johnny. Is Mary downstairs?"
She might deliver similar threats to Dean's at some point, but for now the greeting was warm and she was genuinely glad to see her friend.
