Mary did find it somewhat strange that the racial tension that would have been prevalent in Earth's 1940s didn't seem to be an issue at the moment. Whether it was this particular stranger or simply something that this planet didn't struggle with, she wasn't sure.
She was a little bit surprised at the money. Particularly since the rest of the abductees seem to have arrived with nothing.
She did smile a bit at the compliment on her recommendation.
"Well, I know my alcohol. My m-let's just say that I've been around bars all my life."
She couldn't very well say that her mom had been a bartender, could she?
