The church brought back plenty of memories for Anna as well. Not only for her life as an angel. Her human father had been a deacon, so she'd practically grown up in a church. There was a little bit of longing for both her lost fathers as well as her lost mother as they moved deeper inside the church. Anna settled into one the back pews and gestured for Castiel to do the same. It was getting dark and she was sure that the worshipers would clear out soon enough.
"The pastor should have an offense," she said in a whisper. "A smaller space will be easier to watch."
Her hand covered Castiel's as she started to kneel. They did need to blend, and it felt appropriate.
"We should probably sleep in shifts."
He would know that too. Perhaps in the morning, they'd have more luck finding somewhere that they could prepare so they could sleep at the same time. But for now, taking turns on watch was the best idea.
