If Anna was honest, the idea of breaking in to a church had a certain level of appeal itself. She had her own issues with their absentee Father and had her own forms of rebellion. Breaking into his house and potentially some of the things that could be done once they were sure they were safe... Well, there was something to be said for that.
But it also felt more like home than anywhere else they might stay here.
"Not to mention that we don't have the money required for a motel room," she pointed out.
She kept her eyes open for any sign of a church. As such, she didn't look over at Castiel right away at the question. She merely shrugged.
"I'm alive and whole." At that, she did look over at him. "And you are as well. I've had worse days. And you? How are you faring?"
She did worry about the Winchesters. About how Dean hadn't even greeted Castiel, neither at the meeting nor the dinner. She knew that he had once sought the other hunter's approval, and while he didn't seem to need it now, she still worried that it might have hurt him to be ignored like that.
