Eva was torn. She didn't care about the part where Olivia couldn't protect her. That was fine. Eva had learned how to do that pretty early. With a father like hers, you didn't just wander around all innocent forever. It was that she couldn't decide if she wanted to stick around somebody who was some kind of authority.
Eventually, she decided she didn't really want to be alone. And that feeling was stronger than the one that told her to let Olivia walk out the door.
"You don't have to protect me." She promised. "Let's just... I don't know. Explore or something."
