Eva scanned the room, and her eyes fell on Rayne. She lit up at that. Rayne was here, and that was good, because that meant that she wasn't completely alone.
"Rayne's here, actually." She said, and nodded in the direction. Rayne was sitting with a guy that Eva didn't know, and wasn't sure about. He was awfully bit, and she didn't think she wanted to attract his attention just now.
"Hell yeah. A lot weird. The people in Electric City, the ones that weren't us, anyway, had two pupils. But only sometimes. Most of the time they looked normal, I never did figure out why or when the doubling happened. Didn't have time. Then there's the fact that nobody outside of the people that lived there seemed to think Electric City was a real place. It just kind of appeared one day. My boss sent me down to get some data, and then I never heard from him again."
Eva tilted her head a bit, thinking. "And then there's the fact that the girl I flew down with disappeared entirely." Though she didn't particularly think that was a bad thing. Not really.
