"Yep." He nodded, not finishing what Mary started saying either. It was home, but not home. They had no idea how long they'd be stuck on this planet. They could disappear from the black and white tomorrow, or they could be around for a couple of months. It hadn't been that much time between the fake Electric City and the planet with vampire ducks, but it had been a good amount of time between the bunnies and the 40s.
"Alright. You know, if you wash your clothes before you get in the shower, they could be dry by the time you're out."
It suddenly occurred to him that neither one of them had anything resembling pajamas.
"I'll look for nearby stores while I'm out." It would give her a little extra time to get sorted. And he'd have a layout of the area he could present when he got back. It would make living easier in the long run.
Johnny hesitated, almost drawn in to the newlywed facade again, but stopping himself before he actually kissed Mary on the cheek. He raised a hand in farewell instead and headed out.
