"It doesn't sit well with me either." Johnny admitted. Life had not stopped being strange for him since his family was taken away. Every day there was something new to deal with. His world had opened up to the existence of the Inventor, and the Tower. He'd died and come back and now was apparently immortal and unkillable. Then he'd gone to York, and somehow, someway, it had all gotten even weirder.
The fact that they'd just spent a night outside and hadn't really needed to have a watch schedule was wrong to him. The fact that he truly felt that they would have gone unmolested all night, even by other humans, felt wrong.
"I would say that we shouldn't borrow trouble." He finished the thought with a slow shake of his head. Johnny knew that he wouldn't stop worrying any more than Mary would. Wondering when - as she said - the other shoe would drop.
"Fuck it. Let's go find jobs and a place to live." He laughed, then. "Doesn't that just sound off?"
