Mary took the coin and studied it. It took a moment to recognize that the face on the coin wasn't right. Oh, she knew that face all right. After all, she had a little bit of a thing for the old fashioned black and white movies. Though watching them was one thing, living in one... Well, there was a part of her that had to admit that it might be just a little bit cool.
Save for the fact that their best plan was sleeping in the park at the moment.
She turned the coin over and studied it once more to be sure before handing it back to him.
"That's just not right. Even if Cary Grant was my first crush."
There was almost a hint of shyness in the playful smile that accompanied that little tidbit.
Mary glanced down the street, and then at the bike, still trying to come up with a better option.
"The park might be the place to start tonight. It's better than going door to door begging for shelter."
