Phaedra chuckled, too. The Doctor's summary of why she was not his companion was accurate, if a little too kind.
"My job," she said, shaking her head. "I doubt I still have that. But otherwise, yes. He's right."
She listened to the description of Rose, and, as she had in the past felt with Jo and Dean when they thought of each other, felt as though The Doctor had feelings for the girl.
"And does Rose's idiot boyfriend know that you care about her as you do?" Phaedra asked. She rested her head on her right hand, trying to look less threatening.
