Meeting Mary's nod, he returned it as he and Anna drew close. She looked well, at least. That was always a good sign. And though there was clearly something different about her mate, he didn't feel anything malevolent. Only...supernatural for certain. There was also a vague air of death around him, but that was no different from any other hunter.
"Hello, Mary," he said simply. "As always, it is good to see you. It...appears we've found everyone we were searching for."
Conversation was yet another thing he was unskilled with, but he felt no need to prove himself to her. She'd been aware of him before, so he assumed that speaking to Mary was no different from speaking with her father.
When his eyes came to rest on Johnny, he stared into the other man's directly, unblinking. "It is also good to meet you," he said, offering the other man a hand. "I know of you, but I'm afraid I know very little aside from what you mean to Mary."
He still felt vaguely protective of her, despite her mother and father still being in the same room. He doubted Johnny intended her harm, but there was a certain level of...he wasn't certain what to call it. Regarding Anna, it would have been a sense of territorial behavior, but this stemmed from a desire to protect her until he was certain Johnny was worthy. He imagined this would be Dean's job, but he felt it nevertheless.
