"Former angels," Mary corrected him. "And I don't know about you, but I can resist the temptation."
She shook her head with a soft, amused laugh.
"I'll find a way to make sure that you can't leave, okay? Not sure what sort of lock is down there but I'm sure we can rig up something. You'll just have to be at my mercy for the night," she said with a grin.
She put her bottles in the cart and waited for him to do the same before she started moving again.
"Snacks are good, though it might slow things down for you if you're eating too."
If the intent was for him to get drunk, it was already an uphill battle after all.
