There was a hint of amusement in her tone and in the smile that tugged at the corner of her lips. She couldn't help but wonder what drunk Johnny would say to Cas if given the chance. She didn't wonder enough to want to let it happen, but she did wonder.
"I'll tell you what, I just won't let you wander upstairs. I think that even drunk, I won't want you meeting Cas for the first time like that."
Oh, she was sure that he would meet Cas at some point. He'd made it clear that he wasn't planning on going anywhere which meant that Johnny would meet everyone who came with the Winchester package that was here. It was odd, because she'd managed to keep the future version of Johnny away from her family, but that just wasn't an option with the close quarters in this situation. Besides, there was a little bit of regret that she hadn't introduced that Johnny to anyone. She'd wanted to, but she'd also enjoyed having someone that was just hers. She'd also had a small fear that her family would go into overprotective mode and scare him off. She supposed that this version of Johnny had proved that he didn't scare easily.
At the question of what she was drinking, Mary reached for the old standby of Jack. She smiled and nodded to the fireball whiskey.
"Think I'll stick with my old pal tonight, though I might want to steal a glass of that."
