Mary had been on the verge of knocking on doors herself, but then she'd gotten distracted by the arrival of both someone who claimed to be her brother in another reality and a version of Castiel from (she could only assume) yet another reality.
It was enough that Mary had her hands full with people to worry about. That didn't mean that she wasn't thinking about Johnny and wondering where he was. It didn't mean that she hadn't been out looking. She had, but she hadn't been door to door. Yet.
For now, she was on her second coffee cup and trying not to wonder if Castiel and his 'mate' as he'd put it ever planned to get out of bed. She wasn't quite sure if she wanted to see what state of undress they emerged in either.
And she definitely didn't want to think about whatever reuniting had gone on in that bedroom.
Nor did she want to think about the man that she was currently missing.
In fact, she was busy just focusing on the strong cup of coffee that was a jolt to her senses when there was a knock at the door. She wasn't expecting anyone, which meant that Mary made sure she had a gun before getting up to answer the door. She peeked through the peephole and there was a moment when she almost forgot to answer the door.
It was him. Johnny.
She pulled the door open, trying to contain the smile of relief. She should probably be testing him to make sure that he was human, but instead she just drank in the sight of him.
"Johnny. You're here too."
She probably shouldn't be happy or relieved about that because it wasn't exactly good news to be potentially abducted, but the emotions were still there in her voice all the same.
The scowl almost sealed it that it was actually Johnny and not something wearing his face. If something was wearing his face, the expression would probably be more neutral. Mary took a step forward and hesitated before giving him a hug.
