"This challenge I accept." He was grinning now, pleased to have found a friend who could drink. He didn't know why Cas had downed that many bottles, or how, but he was willing to try to match it.
Piotr watched Cas move and approved of the easy way he went about things. He wasn't new to this game, that was obvious. That made working together a whole lot easier.
As soon as the other man was through the door, Piotr was up and going for the front door to open it, and as soon as it was, he turned to go back the other way. There was a short pause as he pushed start on the microwave. It began to whir immediately, and the sparks started not soon after.
Just like he'd expected, the animals crowded through the front. Piotr did not waste time trying to kill any individually, they would all go in a moment. He could move faster than he was easily, but he needed them to come into the store. The more of them that got caught in the blaze and explosion, the better.
Piotr was doing his own countdown in his head, and made it out to Cas with a few seconds to spare. If they'd been a team for longer than the last couple of minutes, he would have bodily picked up the other man to carry him further from the blast radius. As it was, Piotr merely took up a position to block the bulk of it. Cas was not small, but he did not match the seven and a half feet, two hundred and fifty pounds that Piotr was in his steel form.
