Actually, Phaedra was doing no such thing. She was merely poking at Castiel. She did not like his attitude and his assumptions about her, and she was making that clear.
As he began to talk about what he would and would not accept in terms of her feeding habits, Phaedra did not move. If she were to move, she would rip his throat out. Who in the fuck did he think he was to dictate something like that?
This? This was why she truly, at the core, disliked human beings. Hunters especially. They had no idea what it was like to be something like she was, and yet they felt that they were qualified to make rules about what she could and could not do. It was infuriating.
Phaedra silently congratulated herself on every time she didn't kill someone who said anything like this, from Joe to Dean and Cas, and every other person in between.
She was so enraged that, when Cas spoke again, she didn't even hear it, except that he said something about a decision which made no sense at all. What decision? Yes. Because feeding herself in order not to kill those precious to the humans around her was *really* such a decision.
"There's no decision to make," she said, exasperation very evident in her voice. "You're in no position to tell me what I can and cannot do, and what you will and will not allow. And every second I have to stand here speaking to you, you're putting more people in danger."
She turned her back on him, then, and began to walk back to the hospital's door.
