"I wasn't aware I had to be," he replied. "How long have you been hiding it? Seeing as you're both vampire and demon, I can't imagine the other hunters here would have let you live very long."
Were it anywhere else, he likely would have killed her without question. One shot of dead man's blood and one well-placed swing with a very sharp knife, but he knew that this was not Earth and she was unlike any vampire he'd ever seen. If his suspicions were correct, she was displaced not unlike himself. And that left him with no choice but to make certain of her actual intentions. He'd never known a vampire not to kill, but there had been others that managed themselves relatively well thanks to the displacement situation.
"If we're in a hospital, there's a number of ways this could go," he stated. "From whom do you feed?"
It was a forward question, but he'd never been one to take advantage of subtlety. This was also not the place for it. If she intended to feed from sources other than humans, there were ways he could help her.
