Restless, Cas had needed to get out and find something to do. He was definitely tired, but sleep...sleep would not come so easily. It didn't to begin with, but despite the fact that he was somewhat relieved to be away from the ocean liner, he was not pleased with his current predicament. Mary had seemed pleasant and worth knowing. Seeing as she was a child of Dean's, she was likely worth knowing, though there was a part of him that still doubted her. He had yet to find Dean, so he could only trust anyone's word so much. What he required was a hunt.
And potentially a smoke, but...he'd decided he would acquire cigarettes later. He had one left in his pocket and they likely still required money. It would be his misfortune that they tasted of chocolate in this world to coincide with the theme of Easter, which, while unpleasant to him, it reminded him of Anna and thinking of her was not what he needed to be doing.
So he tracked the nearest presence of likely malicious intent. It had been some time since he'd seen any demons outside of Meg or her vampire accomplice...strangely enough, they had been of assistance, but this one was hunting too. Seeking out prey. In a way, it felt good to pursue her, but when she stopped, he was aware that she'd sensed him.
"Why are you stopping?" he asked simply, his tone suggesting he was aware of her intent. "If you're injured, you will need to seek medical attention quickly."
