She couldn't be certain that that was what that man was, but Phaedra knew a thing or two about what the inside of people's heads was like. His was unlike anything else, and he seemed to have a great deal of control of what he allowed her to overhear and not overhear. His thoughts were very, very interesting.
Phaedra could not put her finger on why she felt so oddly hungry. Certainly it'd been some time since she'd last fed. But it was almost like... like she somehow felt she would not even have the opportunity to feed for a very, very long time.
