Rob had heard many jokes in his time. He was a nerd, geek, and many other things after all. He hadn't always been built like he was, but he had his father's quiet intensity as much as his intelligence. Rob never thought of himself as smarter or stronger than Sam Winchester, but he knew he could give the old man a run for his money. A very long and expensive run.
"That's what theories are for - testing." He smiled slightly, knowingly perhaps. "And there are always answers; just have to know the right place to look." Rob did the one thing his father rarely did when talking to anyone, especially a male. He gave the cowboy a wink and a smirk; so, he might also have some of his uncle's cockiness - did such things run in DNA even what bit that was shared between brothers?
"Library would be a damn good place to start." He absently licked his lips as he looked from cowboy to the menu. Tea, bagel, and library. It could be worse.
