Johnny was more than a little impressed that the kid moved so easily. He was tall, and he looked lanky, but he moved like he knew how to handle himself. The collision that could have happened passed them by in a blink.
"You don't know it either." Johnny's tone was thoughtful. "Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one."
He didn't know this guy, hadn't seen him in Electric City, which of course didn't mean anything at all. They'd just recently gotten there, the kid could have been on the other side of town.
Johnny was in line behind the dark haired curiosity, chewing on his lip and wondering what all of this meant.
From York back to his home, and now to a place that nobody knew. It had been a hell of a strange journey. One that he wasn't sure what to think of.
