Shrugging into a nice plain sweater, Betsy shook her head, then combed her hair with her fingers. She glanced in the mirror to see if she needed to do anything more, and was satisfied with what she saw.
"No, I don't." She sighed. "I got a call from Brian to find him in Electric City, and he wasn't there when I got there. I looked everywhere. I asked around. Nobody had even seen him. When I tried to call, his number wouldn't go through. It wasn't even a busy signal or a disconnected one, it was just dead air."
Betsy turned to Jo. "I went to bed in my hotel room, and woke up here, an elephant. What about you? Any ideas?"
