"Oh, no, I agree. There are some cases that it's full on dislike. No extra person or person, but this feels like third party business." Jack didn't add 'gramps' to that. She just winked at him and smiled. "And, no, he doesn't know what he's playing at, can't say I'm a full on expert, but his yen for some of the stuff out there - it's not healthy. Or healthful." She actually paused to think that one through then shrugged.
"I've got no doubt I don't have all my bases covered, but I'm sure you can guess, this particular rat's not going down without a fight." She shrugged. "So, thanks. It was really keen." She turned to go then stopped.
"Out of mild curiosity, do y'all have a wolf issue round here?" Her hand lifted to wave that away. "Never mind. Be seeing you, big nasty." She gave him something of a salute before turning on her heel and heading back to the store. "Forgot the cheese." It was something of a joke, and she found that yes, she did want some cheese.
