It'd been years since anyone'd pointed any gun that looked like that at Phaedra. It was amusing enough to her for there to be a very slight smile, despite her bleak mindset.
I have no idea what this club soda is...
Oh, great. This was going to go just swimmingly.
"I didn't sneak up on anyone," Phaedra said. "I've been up here for quite some time. You simply did not see me." Her head tilted slightly to the side, dark hair moving out of her face. "Most people don't."
That is a good way to end up with a lead ball in your chest.
That got a true smile. But nothing else. A lead ball wouldn't do anything but piss Phaedra off, which would, generally speaking, end in the death of the person or thing that had upset her. To be fair, in York, she'd gotten much more forgiving and human about things like that, though.
"It should be easy enough to find another shirt. It's a decently-sized city." She could infer that the woman had just arrived, though. Somehow.
