Aaron stood for while, or mere seconds, as he worked through the information. The compliment was nice, coming from one of the Tower's more important members. Of course, he knew that this Evan wasn't the same person, not exactly, yet it still felt good to hear.
"Thanks, coz." He looked around as if the answer to "what now" could be answered by doing just that. "Truth is I don't know. And, yeah, in your DNA. While we look for my partner, could you explain aliens?" His hand went up as he smiled almost sheepishly.
"I understand what they are, but why would you think they did anything to your DNA? Truth is lycanthropy isn't exactly something you can just add to DNA without serious side effects. Or so I understand. They would have to be seriously technologically as well as metaphysically advanced. Being a wolf goes beyond the physical." The large man reached over and rested a hand on his cousin's chest, ignoring what would be more conventional personal space.
"There's something within that makes you wolf. You are wolf, wolf is you," he gave the other man a slight smile before letting his hand drop back to his side. "A curse could mimic lycanthropy, and there is suggestion of other shifting. But, it's not the same. It's not just science."
