Aaron listened carefully to what Evan said, his eyes narrowing again as if he wanted to catch every word very carefully. Probably one of the reasons many who didn't know him thought he was a little on the slow side. He gave a soft whistle at the info then barely held back a laugh at the last bit.
"You got the bad end of the stick, didn't you? Though there's a few back home that'd probably love this. Alternate versions of one reality or some shit like that." It made Aaron's head hurt. He nodded slightly as he thought about the rest of what Evan said, then laughed.
"You aren't perfect, man. You get into shit now and then. Sometimes you think stuff should stay where it is, sometimes you think it should go. You don't always agree with the big dogs. Course, you get mad, you turn into a hell of a big dog." He laughed a little more, a large hand lifting and swatting the other man's shoulder in a playful way. He didn't mean to hurt if he did.
"Why would a fairy care what you do with some librarian? Unless she's faekin." There was a bit of a shudder. "You got one that's just a pain in my tail. She's hot as hell, fuckable, but the woman bought into the fairy superiority a little too hard. You put up with her because she's got decent hook up; there's this other human type. That one," he gave a whistle. "That one isn't exactly Tower, but she can drink you under the table.
"Still trying to figure out the how and why to you narrowing it down to just the two." He wasn't trying to be an ass. Evan hadn't been a one woman wolf after all. He was alpha and could have anyone he wanted - Evan knew it; Aaron knew it. Most men and women who met the man knew it. Aaron wasn't inexperienced himself, but he was more of the choose one and stick with for a damn long time. He just hadn't found that one.
