Max's brows rose at the knowledge, but it really wasn't all that surprising. Or, more who he was wasn't a secret. He nodded with a smile.
"That's me. Max Fielding, P.I." He nodded again. "Forest and forest. There can't be only forest. Not if people are being dressed like they're Lord of the Ring rejects." He didn't mind his clothes, not much, only a little. He wanted his damn hat back at least. He really liked his hat. He was attached to his hat. Now if it would just remained attached to him - he didn't say that thought aloud. He really didn't want to wake up with a fedora permanently affixed to his head.
"You're my first here." He shrugged. "Let's continue walking in the direction that seems to be the right one. Might meet others along the way."
