"Friends are good. Wolves or not." Jack laughed softly, which meant she now needed to find these people and identify them for Kai. They were good guys; they had to be because Jack doubted Evan would bother with the bad ones. He might have been a thief and then some, but he wasn't one to put up with a bad seed - or so Jack's gut told her.
"Good on the self-awareness front, not so much on the girl and fairy fronts." She laughed softly, her hand resting now on his chest. Just a slow steady motion, rubbing softly. "We could bind the fairy fucker. It's not easy, but it's possible. The girl. Want me to talk to her?" She couldn't help the laugh; it was only a small joke.
"You aren't alone though in it. Again, never alone." She curled a little tighter to him. "Why couldn't I've met you first, mm?"
